What Causes Dry Eye?
Many things can cause dry eye. Dry eye commonly takes place in settings where the air is dry or blowing, such as in heated or air conditioned rooms, on airplanes, or in windy settings. In addition, doing everyday tasks where your eyes need to be focused for a long time, such as watching TV, reading, or using computers can also cause dry eye. These tasks reduce the amount of times you blink, which leave the surface of your eye exposed.
