Who is Ora?

Ora is a drug and device development organization that focuses a large amount of its efforts on eye care research studies.

Ora is headquartered in Andover, MA, and was founded by a noted research ophthalmologist, Dr. Mark B. Abelson, over 30 years ago. Over the past three decades, Ora has grown into the world’s largest clinical research organization within the field of eye care. Today, the Ora staff includes more than 100 eye doctors, eye surgeons, and trained clinicians.

Ora has carried out over 1,200 clinical studies and consulting projects, which have helped to improve treatments for glaucoma, dry eye, allergies, and diseases of the retina.
